This is 3mm 316 stainless wire rope in 7×19 construction, supplied as a full 1,000 m reel. Seven strands of nineteen fine wires make 7×19 flexible enough to run around pulleys, winch drums and tight corners without kinking.

316 stainless steel resists corrosion in salt air and wet conditions and keeps its bright finish, which makes it the rope for coastal and architectural work. It has a tensile grade of 1,770 N/mm².
Its minimum breaking load is 798 kg (7.8 kN), a reference value for 316 stainless rope of this size and construction. For a working load, divide that by a design factor suited to the job, commonly 5, and allow for fittings, bends and wear.
